Let's see those mismatched wheels folks… Wondering if mine looks particularly freakish, seems to be in this picture anyhow! 😆

But looks good in this one…

I know riders are using 29er;s in world cup races & they supposed to ride well, BUT, they don't look right in fact they are ugly, not going to ride one because I may like it and I don't want to.

I took the slightly unusual step of fitting a 26" wheel into the back of a 29er frame to slacken the angles off…

aNd how does it ride rob?

I'm loving it… the geometry was far too steep with the stock 80mm form and a 29er rear wheel, so I fitted a 26" back wheel and longer forks, slackening the angles by about 3 degrees but keeping the bb height about the same. Doesn't climb quite as sharply but it's so much more fun going down now. 8)

Btw I have also run these two as well in the past…

Not that I'm aware of, this is my own 'mad scienctist' creation… though tbh, IF do custom jobs don't they, so anything could be specced if one wanted?

    Wot no Summer Seasons?

BTW putting a smaller wheel in the Fisher must do wonders for mud clearance.

Thinks how much is in the bike fund?

    Certainly does…

(Emergency not-dished-very-well rear wheel as some scrote stole my proper one).
