makes me realise how lucky i've been so far. i've not had any proper blood inducing accidents or hospital visits.

all i can offer is my crash which convinced me to buy some knee pads. my knee met with a tree stump.
couldn't walk properly for a week or more as my knee was so swollen.

Alpin, it wasn't awesome seeing my arm bent at the elbow 60 degrees the wrong way!

The morphine was pretty good though.

these were used to re-attach my leg after a broken hip.

what was the 5p for?

scale?

slightly mashed end on one of them was due to 'having to use mole grips to get it undone' during the follow up op to take them out.

What so they used the 5p as a sort or weight/balance?

yes, they put it in the other leg to even the weight up.

so you profited from the NHS?

that's even worse than MP's expenses….

Need to find the x-ray of it when it was broken. The bones on the hand end of my arm were on top of the bones on the elbow end. Hurt a lot, but morphine soon took care of that…

This is my crappy addition, came off at mabie 4x track. chipped carpel bone in my hand and pulled tendons ect.
