    So.. we went down to Plymouth on the train to watch Noel Fielding this evening, laughed til we cried and then jumped on the sleeper back up to Exeter where we’d left our bikes locked up for the hour long ride home from the station..

    Only it was a bit cold, we weren’t really dressed for it and my other half was not keen (neither was I if I’m honest) so we decided to abandon the bikes and get a taxi, planning to recover the bikes in the morning..

    The taxi driver it turns out, is a keen MTBer and rides the Quantocks regularly and on on hearing our tale immediately turned the car around and went back to pick the bikes up for us..

    So if you’re on here Mr Driver, that was above and beyond the call of duty, sorry you didn’t get a tip (we are povvo) but if I see you again I’ll definitely get you a pint or two 🙂
