Agreed, there will also be a TV bod somewhere exuding epic levels of smugness at the ‘pottery/throw down’ play on words.

Naw. That guy is truly gutted that his celebrity weightlifting idea was rejected ’cause the BBC wouldn’t show “The Great British Jerk Off” before 9 p.m.

Didn’t BBC2 show some ‘adverts’ for Family Guy recently where they were taking the piss out of various TV formats as being a bit ridiculous, with one of them being competitive pottery?

There was a time when I would scan through the telly magazine that comes with the paper to see what was worth watching. Now all I do is see what is on at 9pm on Bbc 4.
I think telly is the worst it’s ever been.
Cradle to the grave ,the Danny Baker programme has been superb though.

I dont even bother looking anymore.

    Working my way through:

Des Engrenages series 1-5 on Google Play (£1 an episode)

Gotham – streamed from a hooky site.

Will then do S3 of House of Cards.

There is NOTHING worth watching on terrestrial any more. Nothing that hasn’t been dumbed-down to full retard or hammed-up to screaming melodrama.

Anything decent on BBC4 I put on the tablet to watch on the train to London.
