  • The Carpathians – any good for biking?

    A mate has been posted to Bucharest and hence Lard Racing is under threast of a Carpathians extravganza, apparently it’s in Rumania.

    Is the riding good and can anyone recommend a guide/ outfit that’s out that way, please? Failing that geographical embarrassment can be mine. A lot, probably.

    I spent a week in Romania last year…unfortunately I didn’t see a single mtb. Mountains looked great though. Not massively geared up toward outdoor sports etc, but I may have been looking in the wrong places.
