Not only is our heating off but the windows are open, and I’m in shorts.

No matter how cold it gets it seems wrong to light the fire or put the heating on until at least 1st September.

Maybe if you live on the South Coast…, 5c this morning here and we had a fire Monday night too – plus we’ve an AGA on anyway.

Doesn’t bother me lighting it early to be honest. If I had to pay for wood, maybe a different story.

The bank manager says I cant put the heating on (no fire)till October half term. I ll be hunting out a bottle of mtfu long before then.

This is not what I want to hear when I’m coming back to the UK for a couple of weeks.

You’ve got about 36 hours to sort it out now chaps.

‘Shorts on, windows open’. Yeah whatever. I’m standing on my doorstep completely naked drinking a mug of tea. Make sure everyone in the street can see how hard I am.

Yeah, love tea, although it tastes a bit funny. Must be these new diamond shaped sweetener tablets I found this morning.

Been wearing a fleece whilst cycling to/from office. Discovered our heating had clicked on yesterday evening, I think thermostat was set at 14. Hoping for an Indian summer in September.

Put on 3/4’s riding last night and long sleeves.
Then I woke up this morning all nice and toasty. Bloody heating had turned itself on (I’ve never had thermostat controlled heating before!)
    August – damn I’m soft!

Riding around Town the last couple of nights and Tuesday PM I went and bought some lights for my Roadie 😕 Last night I went and bought some Arm Warmers whilst out because I’d left a pair at home 😕 And, and last weekend the heating came on (set at 15C) 😕 And, and Monday night it totally pissed it down and I got both soaked and cold even though I’d already gone out in a Winter LS.. 😕

Overall, this week gets a 😕
