Aye but the ads were bloody annoying.
I pay £5 a month for it and think its well worth the money.

Has something changed? I was listening to the free version of Spotify about 2 hours ago. Got adverts but just like radio, it isn't ever unpaid for, just depends who pays the most...

The best thing about spotify is the introduction of aps.

You can't listen to any one record more than five times now, you either have to subscribe or buy the tune. I could live with the ads, plus it gave you a little extra time thinking up your next tune during spotify wars!!

Pretty good - just download the app and try it free to see if its for you.

For a tenner a month it"s great. The lyrics app was very useful listening to "Sun" by caribou. It can be a bit slow getting less chart related music on there. If you listen to Zane Lowe a lot of the new stuff can take a while.

I pay £5 month, what extra would I get for ten?

Spotify on your iphone (if you have one) including offline. I've not used itunes to put a song on it for a year or so now. It's bloody ace.

I pay £10 a month and I don't have an iPhone......

Excellent, and it's a brilliant tool for discovering new music.
Only the arsey old dinosaur bands (Led Zep, Beatles, Metallica etc) won't allow their music on it, though there have been reports of labels pulling their artists from it recently over how little the artist gets paid, but I haven't noticed anything dissappearing that I listen to.

Differences are shown here between Free, 4.99 and 10.99
For me it's the streaming to my Sonos and mobile that make the 10 quid deal the one to go for. I'm sure they do free trials, plus you can stream to android as well (it's not just for iphones).
I'd read that bob about some artists pulling out, but likewise i haven't really noticed anything.
