Imagine the Terminator franchise following a Paul McCartney type career path…

    The Beatles
    Wings
    Mull of Kintyre
    The Frog Chorus

That’s pretty much as good an analogy as you’ll get.

It’s not bad if you don’t want to have to think too much and watch a bit of action.

It’s not supposed to be thought provoking or intellectual so I reckon it does exactly what it’s supposed to do.

    (I enjoyed it !)

Remember the awesome post-apocalyptic flashback (forward?) that Kyle had in The Terminator?

Well, it’s nothing like that, it’s proper shit.

One of the worst films I have ever seen. Only beaten by the Clash of the Titans remake

If you need to bale on Bale, Clerks is on Dave at 10 for something more cerebral. 😆

it’s waaaay better than Rise of the Machines.
I mean, Claire Danes in an pre-post-apocalyptic cyborg action movie? Really?

I’ve only ever watched it dubbed in German and it was ok. Perhaps it will prove to be worse when I can understand the dialogue.

I once hired it from a shop. About a month later I hired it again forgetting I had hired it once. It was equally shite each time.

Checked and Rotten Tomatoes gives it about 30% so I`m gonna watch Clerks instead.

And not forgeting Heather Mills (with her prosthetic limb and all that) as the evil cyborg love interest 😉

Good plan. Top movie. I have a theory that the quality of Kevin Smith films is inversely proportional to his budget.

i love the Mull Of Kintyre song as thats where i’m from so get it right up ye ****ts. The Pipe Major in the video taught me to play the pipes. Cant be that bad when its still one of the UKs’ highest selling singles of all times

As for the movie it does blow a bit

    Not a great storyline, bit of a build-up to T5 and 6 I guess.
The introduction of CG Arnie was a bit cheap.

    Not seen Highlander 2 then?

    Oh God…Highlander 2.

Imagine being sat facing the release valve of an agricultural muck spreader at a range of about twelve inches as the nozzle is opened at maximum pressure and then maintaining that stance for ninety minutes as high velocity manure is flung randomly in your general direction.

Now you have some inkling of what it is like to sit through Highlander 2 in a cinema. Only the reality is worse. Much, much worse.

PJM, that’s a pretty eloquent description of how I felt coming out of the cinema having actually paid to see Highlander 2.
    I hadn’t seen any reviews… 😡

    I think I could review films for a living…

Watching 2012 was like being the head fluffer on the set of Charlies Anals.
