Any recommendations on how to repair a tear in the footprint of my tent. Its a straight line about 6 inches long causes by a drunken idiot trying to have sex with me on a motorcycle trip.

Is it the foot print or the groundsheet?

Lightest weight would be to try and get some seem tape. Failing that some gaffer tape and seam grip sealant would do it.

There is a very good tent repair company in Musselburgh Mike. Canvas, nylon, poles, they do the lot and reasonable prices…

Failing that, Spinnaker Tape or duck tape…

    If it’s the groundsheet,
    Google “groundsheet repair kit”
    else
    Google “tent repair kit”

McNett Seamgrip. Brilliant stuff. Tape the tear on one side, run a bead of Seamgrip down it, leave to dry, remove tape, fixed.
