Meet his wife at work – got married had 2 kids.
The boss (who is widely regarded as a real pr*ck) asked the husband if the wife was planning to coming back after maternity leave.

Does she really want to come back?
Yes
Last time – does she really want to come back?
No – she want to be a full time mum for a while.
Tell her to come back.

A few weeks later she was made redundant after 18 years service.
Nowadays the kids are a bit older and she is back part time.

Doesn't make me warn and fuzzy, that's abuse of trust and tantamount to fraud.

A number of other people from her dept were also made redundent so I don't think there was too dodgy dealing going on. And she was off for 7 years before coming back.
