What’s the best places? Is there anything suitable for a midday pootle?

Not looking for a massive epic, just something I can sneak into a work day.

    Ta 🙂

    Lee/Cragg quarry

EDIT: might be a bit far for lunchtime. Quick ride on the PBW round Hurstwood & Cant Clough would be doable though I reckon

That’s right near our house 😀
    It’s good, but very short.
Best to link it up with the local bridleways for a nice lunchtime loop.

Lots of nice bits and bobs around – you could always have a ride through Towneley Park and wave at the neighbours:

Only lived here a couple of months, so still trying to link decent trails ourselves.

Moved up to Burnley from Tod – can’t believe how much friendlier people are in Burnley – only 6 miles up the road.
Must be moving back into Lancashire 😀

    i’m also in burnley.
plenty of places to go.if you’re looking for a lunchtime pootle then crown point isn’t bad – loads of manmade tracks, nothing too taxing, you can make it as long or as short as you want and can link it up with other trails as well

Thanks all for the help 🙂

I’m actually going to be in Nelson, is there anything there by chance? I don’t need a lot of distance tbh (I’m usually up ultra early and shattered from work by the time I get to sneak off with the bike before driving home!)

I’m happy riding a loop a few times or whatever, it’s just nice to see something completely new.
