    Hi,
Does anyone know of a UK equivalent of this company.

    https://web.easydns.com/

I wish to use a company who just does DNS management, not interested in web hosting, etc. The plan is to transfer the company website domain to this company.

    Cheers,

I’ve used 123-reg for years. No issues with them.

I would say it depends on the size of your platform and what features you need – for us we wanted an anycast+ setup as our main feature after losing connectivity due to ddos against zoneedit – went for http://www.dnsmadeeasy.com/ and they have been faultless so far.

Edit – these guys are USA based with nodes all over the world (which any decent provider should have) – is there a specific requirement to use a UK-based company?

Only other than convenience for support and not having to worry about timezones, etc. I had to contact a hosting provider in the States to have a domain transferred that was stuck in limbo.

I have used http://www.gradwell.co.uk for the past 5 years.

I’ve taken over administrating a website that is resolved through 123-reg.co.uk and have had no problems so far. User Interface is pretty simple and straightforward and I can do email as well as site forwarding.

For what its worth I also have 3 sites running under NameCheap.com and I prefer its setup – more options.

never had an issue in the 5 years they’ve been looking after it all.
