Thinking about taking up something different in 2012. Have been on a trial flight and loved it. Anyone on here fly / used to fly?

No but a friend of mine does ad he took me up one day and I loved it, quite costly for lessons though and you obviously need a licence, insurance etc. compared to biking it’s a very expensive hobby. My mate co-owned a plane, but now has his own 15k rig. He goes on a few forums, I will find out what one!
