    Holy thread revival batman…

Its not a scam, but I think you have to be fairly lucky AND smart to avoid being ripped off. I know a couple of people who have won items worth hundreds for a few tens of quid.

Been tempted to sit online at 4am and watch a few but what puts me off is the payment for bids beforehand.

Just been online and gone through the registration process (just to understand how it all works). Once registered (free – whoopee) you then must buy ‘credits’ to bid – so even before you have started bidding they have your money. Clearly not a scam as such, but clearly only for the mentally infirm. You could easily spend £££££££££££££s constantly bidding on the same item before you get a ‘winning’ bid then you still have to pay the final fee + delivery on top.

It is clear you *could* get something for a good price, but it would be much easier to sp*nk loads of money for nothing.
