    for some unknown reason Giro stopped making the Switchblade Helmet with detachable chin guard.
    My swichbalde is now so old and battered, it desperately needs replacing. The MET parachute is too lightwieght and downhill helmets are too heavy for trail riding. I will probably end up with a casco viper. But ive no idea why Giro stopped making this great lid. Are there other full face wearers who feel the same?

    Hi Meiriadog42,

    I've got a black switch blade, storage bag, spare pads, etc etc

    Never used as a full-face, and only used on a dozen commutes – certainly never damaged!
