    Multipivot bikes are meant to provide suspension when rear brake is locked up… not a great lot going on here sometimes!!

    But suspension is only going to do anything when there is a load applied to it. On a steep switchback like that, there is no load on the rear wheel to activate the suspension, what ever type it may be!
