Getting in? Your supposed to buy a ticket from the centre (not that I've ever been checked tbh) Don't think there is any age limit.

If I remember right, you don't need a permit if you're under sixteen.
Worth checkin at the visitor centre though or online. Have a fun time!

From the permit application form:-

"Under 16's do not require a permit"
