Home – second-hand cycles Brighton and Hove UK

This guy runs a second-hand bike shop and repair service out of a garage in Hove. Not a place to get your spanking new 2 grand DH beast, but a GREAT place for quick cheap parts, advice, and top repairs. So if you’re not local and you snap a derailleur, or need a cheap wheel to get you home, whatever, pop by. And if you are local, he’s great for repairs and supplies.

I’m biased, cos he built my cheap hardtail from factory bits, but still: He put a new shimano deore wheelset, some used combo SPDs, new cabling, replacement bottlecage bolts, fixed a brake lever and a proper lube of the drivetrain in a couple of hours, all for £100.

Far as I can calcualate, that meant he charged me about 20p for labour.

agree, he’s a nice bloke who seesm to go out of his way to help people. My son went to school with one of his kids for a bit and he got us a kids bike at auction and sorted it for very little.
