Anyone else having chainline issues on their lht?
I'm running an LX HT2 touring chainset and 9 speed mtb cassette. As per Shimano instructions I'm running 2 spacers on the drive side cup and 1 on the NDS. Has anyone else tried different combinations of spacers to adjust chainline? i.e. 1 on each side if splines can take up the 2.5mm difference, or 2 on the NDS?
you need to keep all the spacers there but you can move them around a bit - I've done this with a Singlespeed to get the chainline right.
1 spacer each side with a deore c/set on mine.
I'll have a play around with the spacers and see what happens. The chainrings just seem to be sticking out too much at the moment, doesn't make for nice smooth pedalling.
