    Hi Guys

New Ice Cream Truck, bought used, frame and forks powder coated in chrome finish, sarma 100 mm carbon rims, all silver hope stuff.

Wanted a retro “overgrown old school bmx” type vibe, dead happy with the build, big thanks to Dave at Voltz, blidworth, notts

weight is 31, pretty light for a steel frame with 5″ tyres

Enjoy, logos lined up, no mud on it etc etc

Those look like the ludicrously expensive bars I’ve been lusting after. Very nice.

Oh man, that looks the shizzle. I have no need for one, or ride anywhere that warrants that kind of bike, but I want one.

sorry to sound like a grump but it looks like something from the Toys R Us kids section.

Anyway, it doesn’t matter what I think. Enjoy!

Aye, but have you got anything negative to say about it? 🙂

This is not helping me keeping the little voices at bay telling me I need to chop in my Puffin for an ICT ….

Looks great BTW – Who did you use for the powder coat? Its the best application of that paint I’ve ever seen.

Is this the time to mention that I’ve got an ICT frame (and some wheels to go with it) sitting around in the shed doing nothing. There are even (just about) enough scratches on it that you could justify getting it re-painted 🙂

@ Roverpig …… Stealth advert? Are you looking to sell or just showing off? 😉

I hadn’t really thought about it too much to be honest. I guess the bottom line is that I’d sell it if there was somebody who wanted it and was going to enjoy it. It’s not at the point where I want it out of the shed and would just sell it to anybody, but I do hate the idea of bikes being unused if somebody could be enjoying them. Not sure if that makes sense, but it’s a large so drop me an email if you are interested.

    Now, back to cozz 🙂

Who did the chrome powdercoat (and how much was it might I ask)? One of the freshest bikes I’ve seen this year.

powdercoating was done by Aerocoat – near Great Yarmouth

think it was about £150 inc posting it back to me, frame, forks, and set of bars (which I didn’t use)

I’m with on and on. Frame is nice, green bits are nasty

Its all taste tho and believe it or not I prefer subtle

    Good to know.

They are one of two local (ish) powder coaters and I used them previously for a green Genesis build.

Hmmmm … now to unimaginatively copy build or not 😆
