I bought a set of the flame design rotors a couple of months ago…

    http://superstar.tibolts.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=50&products_id=202

Fitted one to the rear of my alpine 160 and one to the front of the missus Spech fsr trail and they’ve worn incredibly poorly.

Admittedly they’ve just taken two weeks in the alps but each bike also has one 203 rotor from another manufacturer on that’s been running on the same bike for at least 18 months with little sign of wear and is still completely useable now.

The SS rotors appear to have worn to the point of replacement within 3 months. The thinnest part of the rotor is now less than 0.5mm. I guessing these will need replacing.

Anyone had good bad experiences with these particular rotors?

Got a pair of the flame rotors on mine. No wear concerns from me. And the brakes get some use here I can assure you!

Do you not find them a bit pathetic in the power department? I hated mine. I swapped out asap.
