Help love the idea of the single pivot on the Santa Cruz but everybody raves about the Anthem.
    I hate having to choose

coming soon will be the first helpful hint – test ride them both 😉

until then, consider bearing and pivot wear / maintenance costs…

I've had a similar dilemma – decided that my size & weight would eat bearings etc so, staying with a hard-tail…

Many dual link bikes (inc Giant) emulate a single pivot anyway, you're paying for bearings and un-needed weight (vs marketing & hype for SC 😛 )

I'd try them but you might find you can get a nearly new X1 / X2 for not a lot. I paid £1500 for a new but second hand X1 for my wife

You can probaly buy a discounted Anthem X4 for not much less than the price of a Superlight frame……

Other thing worth considering is clearence, the anthems can get very clogged up with mud etc where as the superlight is great for anything spesh if you ride all winter and do any race type activaties. So wish i had'nt sold my frame on earlyer this year.
    Bats.
