   I have just recieved this by e-mail from my father-in -law.

   I didn't understand at first. Then I reslised it was my son. On his first go on a proper pedal bike. I am super proud, but sad not to have been there as I am working overseas.

   Super super emotional. Words cannot describe how I feel.

   Great vid. A few years back you wouldn't have been able to record or view it so at least you got to see him on his maiden ride. Kids learn quick, he'll be doing tailwhips in a week or two

    My three year old started pedalling for the first time a couple of weeks ago. Was awesome being there to see it but it would be nice to have it on video.......

    this room is very dusty! SO much so that one might describe my eyes as sopping wet!

    Fantastic!! Great to look back on too. We've some cracking footage of our eldest riding without stabilisers for the first time (balance bikes didn't exist back then ) and the camera pans to his younger brother scrapping with a neighbour's child of similar age who he then swings around into the nearest lamp post (cue rather stunned looking toddler) - proper 'you've been framed' material

    taught two of my nieces to ride last summer. the video was the first thing i showed their mother after she came round after seven weeks in intensive care. i have a few pics of my own, but videos of first rides really add to what is after all a dynamic step.
