    There must be an alternative that will still let heat out but keep me safe, any ideas of what works?

    Since this is a thread about road rides… would one of the new ‘aero’ helmets help – they tend to have fewer vents but designed to work more as a wind tunnel so they’re not too hot but have fewer holes to let the sun shine on your shiny pate (and use sun cream on your head too).

    Just because you don’t burn, doesn’t mean there isn’t substantial damage being caused by UVA radiation that may not show immediately.

    Make sure you have a good * rating as well as a numerical SPF!!!Just checked the bottle, it has that logo like the bottle in the pic above and also one that says 4 stars “superior” (there is a space for a 5th star so I’m guessing it’s out of 5). This is for P20 50SPF by the way.
