    So, does this mean we’ve only got shorter evening light from now on, or does it mean we’ve still got all those lovely warm evenings to look forward too..?

    While the solstice may be the longest day it isn’t the latest sunset – sunset is later for the rest of the week but sunrise gets later quicker, so day length goes down
