I had a pint of Summer Lightning tonight! I started with a Barn Owl but it was the end of the barrel. By the time I was ready for my second the Summer Lightning was on – it was a pleasure!

Pale/summer beers are bloody popular at the moment aren’t they? I’m a fan of darker brews myself, (thought if needs must……..) current favorites are Jennings Snecklifter and Butcombe bitter.

£5.00 for 3 bottles at Bargin Booze? I’d best get 3 of each so I have an equal number. 😀

I sneaked a few bottles of these back from my trip to Suffolkshire in May. I did have 3 left…….. Until about an hour ago 😳

That Caesar Augustus is amazing! I was drinking that at a wedding in edinburgh (free bar) like it was going out of fashion.
