Long shot..

Doing an epic ride this way tomorrw - a bit of googling reveals there might be stuff worth riding in the woods at Sulham..

I'll be branching off the K&A canal towpath at Theale, heading northeast to cross the M4 on the footbridge near J12 then north on the bridleway (Nunhide Lane?) to Sulham

Any locals got any pointers on where in the woods the stuff worth riding is??

Not been that way for a while, used to be a few good (short, but technical) DH trails on the right side of the road as you go up the hill. It's been regularly bulldozed, but there might be something there now. You can ride up into the woods from the Bridleway that starts near Savacenter/Homebase.

There are bits and bobs on the other side, but it's usually full of dog walkers and their dogs waste products!
