Hi all! New the forums, but not new to biking – been XC riding since 1988!

Bought a P7 "Bastid" light from DX and overall am very impressed with it – would like to investigate a way of widening the beam a little bit for the bike mount, then get another and keep the narrower beam for the helmet.

Thinking about either an opaque diffuser on the front in place of the glass (there's plenty of lumens that I don't mind losing a few if it results in a nice spread) or some sort of lens that diffracts the beam a bit, a bit like a car headlight glass.

Open to DIY options, or something off the shelf it it fits the bill.

Any opinions?
