Currently got an XTR one, which has lasted over a year, one side now very grindy. About £22 to replace. Anything better for the same/similar price, or worth paying double for Hope or Uberbike ceramic or something?

For the money my vote goes to xtr every time.

Standard uberbike. Good life expectancy, replaceable bearings from a local supplier, and it’s black, so suits my bike.

hope stainless ……….. mines done 2K and still smooth without any tlc about 18 months of riding XT would last about 1k but feel very grotty, deore about 8 months

XTR is good.

Gusset also good.

Current hope is 2 years old and going strong. Last one was 4 years and only swapped as I wanted a different colour.
