    Cube Acid 29er 2015, or Cannondale Trail 2 29er 2015. Both 3×10.

Alternatively Rockhopper Pro Evo 2015, which is 650b and 2×10 speed, but reduced by £250 to sub-£1000.

Getting dazed by specs, which all look roughly the same to me on these models. Riding relatively entry/mid. Nothing too challenging. Bit of Lakes/Peaks/Dalby Forest and local trails etc.

Opinions much appreciated. Limited to Leisurelakes.com stock though so please no naming of random other models or German imports etc 😉

    Thanks

The cube has the best overalll spec, but I would go for the rockhopper while on offer as it looks awesome and decent spec and is the best brand of the 3 imho. Also it comes with a dropper post.

Is this the Rockhopper in question?

If so that’s a great bike for the money which should be a hoot to ride. Progressive geometry, short stem, wide bars, dropper. Lifetime warranty on the frame as well.

Cube are nice bikes but their hardtail geometry is a bit more XC than trail, likewise for the Cannondale.

I don’t think you could go wrong with the Speccy.
