Yup they’ve been consistently better. Shame it wasn’t a 5 match series though – SA probably would have won anyway but it’s been really high quality.

Now we also know that Pietersen referred to Strauss as a doos (pronounced ‘do-erce’). It could have been worse (but only just) as he could have called him a ‘poes’.

Nice bloke – just what you want on your team – all matey-matey when people are bending over backwards to accommodate him, but turns nasty the second someone won’t let him have all the toys all of the time.
