  • Stoveists. What size is my stove pipe?

I’m trying to buy some flue pipe for the wood burning stove in me shed but can’t seem to relate the sizes I’m measuring for the flue outlet on the stove to common sizes that are sold.

    Internal diameter

    External diameter

The internal size isn’t really 4″ and the external size isn’t really 5″. Neither are 125mm, also a common size…

Can any stoveists advise me what size I’m after?
    Confused of shed land.

You’d have a 4 inch stove pipe out the top of the stove (assuming there is a lip to sit on inside the outlet, unclear from photo), then pack the gap with fire cement/ stove rope. Then either get a 4inch to 5 inch adapter and a 5inch liner or a couple of sections on 4inch stove piper all depending on cost.

Looks like 4″ from that first pic.

There’s no lip on the inside but there is one on the outside.
