Can anyone recommend a fitter in the Taunton area for an existing stove?
I need an existing stove removed from one room, renovated, and replaced in another, but also need a new hearth built and plastering done once the old fireplace has been removed.
Had thought about doing the work myself, but i think demolition of the old fireplace is my limit!
I have an unused stove in the bedroom and want to move it or replace with new (depending on cost-effectiveness) for our living room.

I got I.P. Prince to do mine. Price was same as another fitter (can’t remember name, but passed on by Brendon Hill Stoves), but he was available sooner. Don’t think he supplies stoves, only fits, but might be worth a call. He was able to start almost ASAP (although not usually a good sign), and he only took a day.

    Dante Forge quote was expensive.

Sandpits stove have a good reputation, but came out very expensive (for me). They can do anything though.

Have a look on the HETAs website, there are dozens of potential fitters locally.
