You should cherish and stroke your Stiffy every day as it won’t be there forever and when it’s gone you’ll miss it soooo much…
I have a soft spot for my Stiffy as well, it loves some attention and a stroke.

Remember, a pet is for life not just the morning.

Just be aware of ‘rescue stiffies’. They will have often been misused and trained to fight other stiffies. As a result you need to pay them a lot of attention.

The local yoot seem to walk round with them on display as if they’re a totem of their masculinity. I’m always tempted to walk up to them, give it a pat and say “he looks like a friendly little chap, is he house trained?”

Gosh I am impressed I could remember that, it was heard on a latenight edition of a radio 4 poetry programme in about 1999.

There was another good one called “My Black Triangle” but its rather off topic for the thread.
