    What’s the best glue to use? Both surfaces are flat and smooth and inaccessible, the main forces are going to be peeling it apart from one edge and its going to get wet a lot.

    There’s a website somewhere that helps with that. US as far as I remember, so some of the products are US only branded but it’s easy to search for the products data sheet and find out if it’s available under a UK brand. Sadly, I can’t remember the name of it…at a stab – this to that.

    Your guess is as good as mine as to the accuracy of the suggestions, should you locate it…

    Ah well thanks for trying teasel 😉 Someone has suggested car tyre repair glue – is that the same sort of stuff as normal vulcanizing solution or do I need to take biscuits to Kwik Fit?
