    Bike companies often quote a standover height but where is the standard place to measure it? is it through the BB?, halfway along the toptube?

    almost meaningless anyway IMO – haven’t stood over my bike out of necessity for about 30yrs now

    about 4 inches in front of yr saddle would be the relevant measure but no idea what “standard” is (my bet would be wherever it’s greatest though)
