  • SRAM/Avid brakes MMX & I-spec XT shifters – am I being thick?

    Surely there must be other people out there using an XT shifter on MMX brakeset? Trying a set of guides but can’t see anything obvious online.

    Is there an easy way to attach the 2? I’ve attacked the mounts with the lathe at work today so maybe able to bodge it when I get home – or do I have to buy the other XT shifter cover?

    KCNC make adapters that are a load cheaper than new covers. Failing that there is a company that does mmx-Ispec mounts and vice-versa, can’t remember their name right now though, and we’re hard to get hold of in the UK
