Does anyone know if a SRAM short cage rear mech can handle a 11-32 rear and 34 front chainring cassette. I was hoping to run a short a cage as I could get away with, shorter chain, more ground clearance. Would a Medium cage SRAM be better though for this range? I'm not up on SRAM. So not sure how short the short cage mech is! I know the XT short cage worked fine on my old 1×9 with 11-34 cassette and 36t front. Thought I would give SRAM a shot after 20 years of Shimano!
