I have bought the 2017 rsc, not even bedded in the pads yet, and there is a tiny leak as seen in the photo.
It seems that this leak is not constant, cause the liquid is not accumulated so that it drips.
Even though it doesn’t drip, it’s just that when i dryclean this elastic edge (as seen in the photo in the red outline), its surface is wet again in a few hours.

It this normal, maybe because this is a some kind of ‘blow off’ valve?

Should i fix it or should i send it back for replacement?

PS. The leak is only in the edge (red outline), so it is really tiny. Leak nonetheless. The problem should be in the yellow circle.

Is it oil trapped in the seals during assembly working its way out?

If it was an lbs purchase would they take a quick look?

I don’t know mate. This is happening for the last 8 days. I dryclean it every day and in a couple hours it’s wet again. Could it be a bad seal?

Sounds like a bad seal, but it is an open system so should have a breather hole somewhere, you don’t store the bike on a wall or upside down do you?

Nope, the bike stands normally. I hope it is not a bad seal, cause i would like to avoid the whole process of replacement.
