Does anyone know if the CX1 chainset takes direct mount rings or spider mounted only?

Pretty sure it takes direct mount. My Force 22 is direct mount (now running a single DM chainring) and I’m pretty sure that they’re the same give or take a logo.

can confirm what pdw said, they can take direct mount without issue.

3 bolts on the back to remove the existing spider, then add the DM using aforementioned bolts.

Ah – I was looking for you OP.

Despite my recent announcements I decided the 24lb Scarp Master trumps everything after a recent review stating its “more comfortable than most other XC bikes on the market without a rear pivot”

Buying one next summer 🙂 No funds at the moment.
