So my new bike came with Sram Guide RS brakes. I can adjust the bite point of the lever (how far you have to pull it back before the pads touch the rotor) but is there a way of adjusting how far the lever projects from the bar in its resting position.
Iv’e used hope and shimano levers before and had no problem but the sram levers seem just a tad too far away to comfortably brake without having to shuffle my hands around the bars.

The reach adjust is the little black dial sitting at the beginning of the lever. Guide RS shouldn’t have contact point adjustment, that is the RSC.

Contact point point adjustment is the round dial which is on the brake body – if you have one of these dials then you have Guide RSCs.
