Rear disc brake squeals and makes the whole bike vibrate. Changed disc, pads. Wheel and bearings ok as bike is less than 6 months old. Caliper and mounts all tight. There’s plenty of bike and feel from the lever. Any ideas?

Get the brake mount alignment checked and, if necessary, have the mounts faced so that they’re in line. Small amount of copperslip on the back of the pads where they contact the pistons may help. Make sure the rear hub bearings are all happy, like properly check them, just because they’re only six months old, doesn’t mean they can’t be worn. Possibly different compound pads, some are more probe to squeal than others.

thanks BWD. Just to say the amount of vibration is massive. Ill try all of the above.
    Cheers
