My body work skills are pretty damn poor, but I had to repair a bit of damage on my mums car a while ago and it turned out OK. I sprayed very light coats of warmed paint (cans were sitting on my mums boiler), and lots of them, with minimal time delay in between coats (just waiting for that wet look sheen to disappear from the last coat). I didn’t have wind to contend with mind, and it was fairly cold. In the end I even resorted to using a hot air gun to dry the last coat before applying the next.
I’d rub down the drips and redo.
I’m sure someone that actually knows what they are doing and talking about might have some more useful tips.
