  • Spongy SLX lever.

    Lever started pulling back to bar, although brake still works fine. Cable tied lever to bar overnight and lever was perfect. However despite not being used, lever now pulls back to bar again. No leaks and enough fluid in system. Any ideas what the problem might be?

    you’ve got air in the system.

    Probably needs a bleed, pay particular attention to steps 8 and 9 in the instructions (linked below):

    Will give it a bleed. Would fluid not be leaking out if air was getting in?
