Does anyone run any of spesh’s new sport range of tyres? They seem cheap at £20 a pop so I’m guessing they are a harder compound?

Currently running a butcher control front and purg rear. No matter what I can’t seem to get on with the butcher it just seems to let go without warning,

I’ve ran a purgatory on the front and loved it so I’m thinking of ditching the butcher and banging the purg on the front and pairing it with a ground control on the rear.

Might go with a sport on the rear though that’s if they are decent enough as a rear with the harder compound?

Does anyone run one ? Any good?

They are 29er flavour if that makes any difference ?

    Cheers

Aren’t the Sport ones just weedier versions? Control are the best ones IIRC. I get on well with a Butcher as a front tyre with Purgatory on the back btw.

Sport are steel bead cheap compound tyres, always have been.

Control and S-Works are the Kevlar bead versions, same price, S-Works is lighter, thinner, softer and less durable.
