Looks OK, but no tapered headtube! given almost all aftermarket forks are now tapered inc rigid, the frame is a deadend before it’s available for any future upgrade-ability.

I noticed the headtube problem too.

I was looking at one in the shop a week or so ago. looks a really nice bike. Spa’s bike are good value and well kitted out.

Don’t really see the headtube as a major issue on a bike like that.

Given that I shopped around and bought some rigid forks last month, I can confidently say that there are plenty of 100mm, 1″1/8 rigid forks available.

Given the market for this bike, keeping components standard and easily available wherever you are in the world (except maybe Singletrack world 😉 ) makes perfect sense.

    26 inchers on the small.

    Oops, dp.
    Sorry.

Very tempted by the steel Audax frame at the mo.

Two friends have the Ti Audax, both really rate it, though it is quite a “sturdy” build. I’ve seen a couple of the steel Audax bikes on events as well, look great value.

Bit confused by the Adventure – is it 26″ wheels on the small and 700c on the larger frames?

To be fair, even it’s own mother would struggle to argue it was an attractive machine!

    😀
    Suit me perfectly.

Cut down the steerer and ditch the guards it’d look lush.
