I have been granted a piece of wall for a tasteful decorative photo or piece of artwork based around my hobby. Would probably prefer a majestic scene from the lakes but welcome to consider anything. I like forests, mountains, rivers etc. Any ideas on websites to browse? ta

Sounds like fun. I’ve seen some nice pictures on Instagram where I think someone has used an app to turn a photo into a painting or artists impression type thing. I don’t know if you could recreate this on a wall though.

I wonder if the mag would give me a high res copy of a pic, or if they charge to offer that service at all?

Perhaps not the mag but if you look in the mag for the photographers name then google them to get contact details, they may not be able to provide the exact photo but could probably sell you another from the same series or have similar work.

To be fair he would do it for a sausage roll so no need to get the expensive cuts …..unless you want the good crayons

Ive got a couple of pictures i took myself either framed or transfered to canvas, they’ll never win any awards but its kind of satisfying to say “i did” when anyone asks “who took that”.
Might be an option to take a camera out with you & capture your own area/ride instead of someone elses?
