I don’t run different tyres for different conditions on either of my bikes and I am looking for some replacements for my rigid single speed, old Kona, hack.
At present the front is a std Continental Vert 2.3 (with room to go a bit bigger) and the rear is a Panracer XC-Pro 2.1 as big as I can get in.
Don’t want to spend a lot, go any heavier or smaller, so no problem what can you recommend?

Minions Dhf/Dhr are pretty good all round tyres. Maybe swap the Dhr for a High roller for better rolling resistance.

There are lightish (but not Swalbe condom thin) versions of all those tyres

IS tyre advice dependent on size these days?

Buy what you want, the takeover of 27.5″ and 29″ tyres mean that 26″ tyres now cost pennies, durr.
