ive just rebiult my singlespeed
Im interested in running an half link chain 3/16s for strength and getting the right tension
Can any body recommend a chain and also where to get it
Also i need a new chain ring and rear ring any recommendations ,again where to get

i think 3/16 chains are overkill, you can also get 3/32 half links, hubjub does half links

i’m using a salsa unramped ring and a surly unramped ring & cog, but any ring will work, unramped/pinned preferred

i like cheap 8 speed chains or kmc singlespeed chains

3/32 can be a PITA finding sprockets and chain rings, whereas a 3/16 will run on any combination

joxster thats just not true, also some chain tensioners wont work with bmx chains

3/16 chains are just daft. Use a 1/8 chain if you want something fatter. Pretty much any LBS will have them, probably half link ones as well, and they will run on all mtb/track chainring/sprockets.
