Looking for something around £30, preferably with non tangling wires if thats possible. My old Sennheisers just love to tie themselves in knots.
    Any suggestions?

RHA, 3 year warranty that is unsurpassed and much better built/long lasting than sennheisers (4 or 5 sets) I’d had previously. My MA450i’s have a cord coating, that seems to resist tangling better than the rubberished ones, that said I can’t say they never get tangled..

Nice Zippy but about £120 over budget.

How so you get the senns tangled? Wrap round two fingers stick in pouch. Done

Got some of the new Sennheiser CX 3.00 £15 over budget if the £30 is fixed. Pleased with them so far, don’t seem biased in any one direction and seem pretty balanced. No inline remote though if that’s a consideration, but a non issue for me.

The SoundMagics as mentioned above got to be worth a look too. What Hi-Fi have had them as best buy at under £40 2012/13 and the new version with remote best of for 2014. Would have had a dabble myself but needed/wanted them now!

Save some more money, until you can spend around £70-80, and get a pair of Shure SE215’s, not only is the sound quality outstanding for the money, but they have replaceable cables, unmatched at the price, and if you want cables with a remote, instead of the £45 Shure ones, which have a habit of splitting, you can get cables from Ultimate Ears, for the UE900’s which are around £18, but you get shafted for £8 postage. Still famed cheap for a remote cable, mind.
    Here you go, £63.99: http://www.eglobalcentral.co.uk/shure-se215-sound-isolating-earphones-black.html
And here’s the page for the UE cables, they’re actually £15, plus postage:

Also, use them with triple-flange eartips for best sound isolation and comfort.

Eh? The range starts @ £30, mine were £40… How that over your budget?
Hmm the main page opens up with their top of the range model, I can be hardly blamed for that…

Soz Zippy, I thought you’d sent a link to the one’s you had so I didn’t look any further!

You obviously meant to post this link…
